Happy 130th Anniversary =)

I’m honored to be able to celebrate SEIKO’s 130th Anniversary and getting to know more about their commemorative models=)
I’m very impressed with their Ananta model =)
Having Mr Isshu Tamura, a world-renowned lacquer artist to create a dial that is truly black jet by hand.
And what attracts me most is that the design is inspired by Katana, the ancient Japanese art of sword making.
I really appreciate the depth and thoughts going into the making of the watch. The additional nod to their traditions adds a special touch and flair=)

i enjoyed today too! I always thought that SEIKO is just one typical watch brand, never knew that it has such a long and amazing history!! hahaa, but after today, i know!! so, attending events are not only about seeing our beautiful felicia, but also gaining knowledges.. haha! today was really really great!=) our felicia was really really pretty too! (as always!) hope that rainbow carebear will enjoy playing and taking care of the flowers, not eating them up! hahahaa!!

The word ‘HAPPINESS’ has been on my mind the entire day! It was fun choosing what colors of roses to get until Ash and I remembered that each color actually has different meanings. And so, we read through from the list and decided on 4 colors (with some help from the friendly lady at the florist). This is what my pea-brain can remember:
Peach - appreciation/gratitude
Pink - appreciation/admiration
Light Pink - happiness
Champagne/Orange - passion/enthusiam
And and and, I still wanna mention the rainbow carebear though those who were there just now got really sick of hearing me mention about about it. Actually they were just sick of hearing me repeat ‘Feli, that’s a rainbow carebear!!!’ Ok done! Hahahahaha!

Huh!!! 11 only meh!?!? She cheated us of 1 stalk! Shld be 12 stalks de! Hmmm, maybe she counted the bear as the 12th stalk?!?! Hmmmm, this will remain a mystery unsolved, unless we go back and ask her for an explanation! Haha!

Hahaahha yes we spend quite a while deciding the colours! Not an easy task man. Whoops it’s supposed to be 12!!!! Looks like rainbow carebear was really hungry huh! And yes love your outfit too!!
The event was really interesting man, loved the videos and the one on the minute repeater. Amazing piece of mechanism. Funniest part was probably when the mc said smth about the ball feeling good to be touched HAHAHAH hmmm…

I can’t help but come here to post again. Yesterday was one of the few events which I really enjoyed myself. Though I was so so tired, I couldn’t sleep at all last night until almost 4am. Hehe!
