had a vv ‘fruitful’ day i must say…ndp supplement shoot @marina barrage=) pretty makeup by joey, wonderful time with gary, bernard martin michelle..
wonderful( but very hot!!) weather; met some wonderful kids=)) doesnt e baby look super adorable;)
but alas…on the way back i met this incredibly rude and irresponsible driver i must really highlight what happened n scold him.
this blue ford car driver stopped in the middle of the road so suddenly tt the taxi behind him had to ebrake; i was driving behind e taxi so i had to e brake too; e taxi kissed the ford car in front, i avoided crashing into him cos i braked in time but my poor car wasnt fortunate cos a bmw crashed into my car.
what happened after tt was so incredible it looked like it was fr a drama serial..
the ford car driver came charging out of his car hurling abuses n vulgarities at the taxi driver and the cab driver tried to defend himself accusing the ford driver of reckless driving…apparently the ford driver was accusing the cab driver for nearly knocking his gf down b4 tt etcetcetc..while poor me n my fren in my car could only stare helplessly at my own car n the bm behind…
e guy looked so fierce i thought he would really punch someone…then someone suggested we (all 4 cars) park by the side of the road…while they conti arguing…half way into e arguement the ford driver just angrily got into his car and drove off with his gf…
we were left staring unbelievably at his swift n irresponsible departure.
how could u..out of nowhere….stop dead in yr tracks along the road with cars travelling and tell us that u intended to stop the cab cos he didnt want to stop for u along the road.
that was freaking dangerous and do u know there r other cars behind the cab not only u n him???
there was a poor kid in the bmw when her mummy got to e brake luckily her maid grabbed hold of the child; i really dread what will happen if any kid was not buckled n there was such an irresponsible driver who would do something so unimaginable along the road.
yes. we dun know what happened b4 u chased after the cab and wanted to stop him in yr tracks but pls do rem that there r other cars n vehicles on the road and what u did was freaking dangerous…n u didnt even apologize to any of us n left without a single word..that was so incredible tt we really stared blankly after yr trail of Ford empowered carbon monoxide.
the road isnt a playground. its not a bumper car game we r playing here. its lives in yr hands, in our hands. and u r a freaking adult n i duno why we have to witness such childish behaviour today. i guess u duno how serious things cld be huh? who will be responsible if one trips n falls just bcos u stuck out yr foot? will u? i guess not cos u will prob be the first one to hit n run.
yes, for all drivers out there, pls do rem, rem rem.. do keep a safe distance fr the car in front n do not tail gate!!( at least 2 lamp post apart /or the 2 sec rule rem?)..its really dangerous and u really dun noe what the car in front of u will do..( mayb he will suddenly ebrake just like that guy). do look out for yr own safety cos not everyone will look out for yrs.
( yes ill go repair my car tmr..) thank goodness we were unharmed.

woah the driver is really irresponsible eh…because of him 3 other cars affected…but its a relief to know that nobody was hurt in that accident..

also wanna tell you that your acting in the ultimatum is quite good.but certain things to take note is try to be more natural and don’t overact=p jiayou for baby bonus,hope you will do well in that.

All these driver don’t know how 2 drive. Normally my friend told me when u drive, u must look at the 2 cars in front. U can’t just look at the car in front.
Are u driving along ECP (toward Changi Airport)?
i think the courtesy lion should parade on the road to constantly remind the drivers of Singapore to think of other road users’ safety.

Hope you remember to take down that bastxxx’s carplate number and file a claim on him. In fact, all 3 cars should be able to get some compensation from him. And thanks to this idiot, others are going to pay higher premiums in future.

Sigh Felicia, I totally agree with you that there are a lot of motorists who are irresponsible out there. This morning, I witnessed a lorry speeding, I was travelling at 100 km/h in my car and it went faster than me. There were a lot of workers at the back, can you imagine if it hit another vehicle or object, what will happen to all those workers?

Yes. I agreed that the Ford Driver ought to be shot! Hopefully you guys had taken down his particulars before he drove off from the scene.
It was lucky that you managed to stop your car in time to avoid hitting the taxi. Otherwise, it will have been a 4-chain vehicle. If it had been a 4-chain vehicle, felicia, you will not be able to claim against the BMW but to claim against your own insurance. Yes, that’s the rule in motor claims. So at least u can claim against the BMW.
In any case, I think the taxi driver had been tailgating the Ford as he had ultimately hit into the Ford. If taxi uncle known the Ford might do some funny driving, its wiser not to follow behind. Sometimes I see all these idiots on the road also. Temperture will rise, but I suck thumb. Hopefully Mr Traffic Police will catch them, or the Hades of Hell will welcome the errant drivers.
Lastly, book tell us 2 second rule…but in Singapore, if u open too big gap, other drivers will cut in ur lane and sometimes brake also..so maybe 1second rule is recommend? Haha.
Anyway, glad you are ok and such accidents serves as a timely reminder to ourself to drive safely as well.
Hope you will have better experience on the road in future.

geez. no one took down his license plate?? he should pay for all the damages he caused… the taxi’s, yours and the bm behind… tsssk tskkk. i always thought that i have seen the worst behaviours of singaporeans but whaddaya know?? there’s always worst. good thing no one was hurt though

i had this accident too…recently while i was going to the airport suddenly the taxi infront stopped and 4 cars was at the back!! that taxi just drove away as fast as he could we could not see the car number and was very mad but it was fine at the back so we left i just wish i can find that taxi (yellow)
