something that i read in the papers today-
it was an article abt the nominees for the upcoming star awards most popular category..
as usual..im described as..u guessed it..most politically correct.haha

What would it mean to you to be in the Top 10?
It would mean quite a lot, because it’s recession time and for people to fork out the money to support us in this way — I think it’s very touching … I feel that sometimes as an artiste you get a bit lost in the directions that you take. Encouragement or awards can give you that extra motivation to be braver in whatever you want to do, and you’ll have an even better reason for giving it your all.
yes u can say im politically correct but i truly meant what i have said.
its our job to act, host, present a slew of shows for audiences to hopefully enjoy n be entertained or even educated for the half hour/ one hour or so.
and though this job may have its fair share of job ‘hazards’, i still think its one of the most satisfying n appreciated line of work in this world.
ppl coming up to u. smiling at u, screaming omgosh omygosh r u feliciachin..some even sending u his driving test result slip proudly proclaiming he has finally passed, strangers we all may be but somehow…u make me feel i have more than a family.
yes.. all these may be transient..but its incredible while its happening n u guys often make me feel n seem better than what i really am sometimes.
so why do i say i feel touched..its true!to extend yr support to the extent of forking out financially to give us a chance to be presented with an award..its something that we can never pay u guys back with- except to produce better shows, present stuff of even higher standards and do at least a few notches better than what we thot we could.
so..thank u..
even if u have not made a call, not planning to do so, have made one or dun even know what im talking abt=p…
at least u bothered reading this entry n felicia just wanna thank u for ur support for her;)
its gratifying to spread some warmth around in these small ways that i can.thru my shows, my blog.

anyway, you’ve just revealed what i’ve suspected about you all along, and maybe i’m supporting you now cos i can feel your ‘love’…
somehow, just being able to meet you in person is time worth waiting for and though i’m not contributing anything for your Top 10 Award (i’m willing to bet you’re gonna get it!), it’s so nice to see you smile and i’m so proud of you being able to receive an award.
and though i have to work on Sunday night, i can’t wait to get back home to see that moment!
